Files Over Miles seems to be the easiest file sharing site ever. Choose the file to share and upload it. Files Over Miles will then store the file in the machine’s RAM and generate a unique URL. Email that URL to the recipient and when they click it the file will be slurped to their machine. It uses AES128 so it’s secure and it doesn’t go through any other servers. There are a couple of limitations and both the sender and the receiver must be using Adobe Flash 10, but if you’re only sending the latest video of Junior painting the walls with spaghetti to Grandma then you should be fine. Bookmark this one, it’s a keeper.
Your files are sent the shortest way – direct between you and the recipient. There are no intermediate servers slowing down the process. Try FilesOverMiles and send files between your home computers to see how fast it is!
