Flicker Time – 300 million photos later

Flickertime

Flicker Time. A nifty online clock made up of Flickr images. Amazing what you can do with over 300 million photos, eh? Psst…hover over the image bottom right of the screen. It’s worth it. Cool stuff.

  • cool indeed – but does the tag thing work for you ?
I put in ‘london’ and got things with no tags and things such as a rubber duck with only two tags ‘duck’ and ‘bathduck’… Not a lot in the way of london – oriented images at all.

  • Ah, you got the same thing, Mike? I thought it was just me. :-) I put in cats for one tag and did indeed get lots of one picture of cats, but the other choice – parrots – yielded completely random stuff. Still, it’s pretty neat anyway, eh? :-)
