Flippr – the ironing board designed for today’s busy person

The ironing board hasn’t been redesigned since 1892 probably because if “it ain’t broke don’t fix it” is pretty good advice but that never stopped anyone before. The Flippr is a redesigmed ironing board that promises to save you time on this, one of the most hated of chores.

You could probably save the most time by sending your clothes to the dry cleaners or just accepting your perpetually wrinkled state. If neither of these work for you, this board will shave minutes off of your time by letting up skip the moving of shirts and pants to work out those wrinkles. Instead you just flip the board.

Honestly, I don’t’ know how these people are ironing because you don’t generally do so with a buttoned shirt. Still, this has attachments that can help with straighter pant legs and sleeves. This isn’t an innovation that everyone needs but if you’ve got a friend that struggles with ironing, this might help them out. The Flippr is for preorder right now but has met its funding goals.
