The SiMiCon Rotor Craft is a pilot-less craft which is being developed by a Norwegian consortium as a sort of vertical take off replacement for the Predator drones which are currently being used in Afghanistan. The unique thing about this craft is that it takes off and lands using a set of retractable rotors, which turn it into a sort of spinning disk. In the air however these discs retract and the jet engine takes over for forward motion. It certainly looks 21st century anyway.
