See I’m beginning to understand what you want. And what you want is to watch your fave TV programs on the laptop when you’re away from the den/couch/living room or any other traditional viewing position. So here you go, a small rash of online television services for you to experiment with.
- TV Duck. Well what can you say? A bunch of links to popular and less well known television shows collated from around the net. Playback performance is predictably patchy, but you may be lucky.
- Surf The Channel. Television shows and…ah…movies culled from the net, mostly from our cousins in the Far Far East as far as I can tell. Patchy delivery again, so another pot-luck roadshow. Cloverfield via an ironically scratchy camcorder grab anyone? Best of luck with that…
- TV Shack. Perennial favourites like Scrubs sit alongside more unwatchable Ch*n*se camcorder dreck featuring titles like 27 Dresses and Juno. Delivery is not bad for most of the material. Beware the popup though!
