Fruit Trees of Toronto – cool interactive map of fruit growing trees in the city

This is only good for Toronto, Canada but it’s so good that it should be made everywhere! Check out this Map of Fruit Trees located in the city. For those out there that forage in the city, a great resource for some yummy, free foods.

This map is an interactive one that allows you to see what is ripe by the month. It’s color coded so you can see what’s growing where quite easily. Full fruits like peaches and plums as well as a host of berries and nuts are just growing in the city, waiting for you.

The map doesn’t have direct locations so you would still have to do some searching in the area but if you’ve got some free time and willpower, free food? Check out the map and how they made it at the website.
