Golf-Ball finding sunglasses.$39.95. Because you never know when you’re going to need to find those lost balls in a hurry!

These golf-ball finding lenses, which block out 90% of long wavelength light (dark colors such as greens and browns) let shorter wavelength light (such as whites and yellows) pass through unimpeded, so that golf balls are easy to locate—saving you not only time, but penalty strokes as well.

  • And plus, they seem like they’re stylish as well. Are they the kind of thing you just putt on when you need to look for balls or are they something you just wear. I guess if the former, they could just be offered as a monocle.

  • I had to chuckle when I read the line, “let shorter wavelength light (such as whites and yellows)…” Sounds like someone in the marketing dept. there has to talk to one of the physicists or engineers. Is white one of the shorter wavelengths of visible light? I guess you don’t need even a 5th grade knowledge of science to get a job writing catalog copy.

  • Er..what’s a wavelength?

  • Chris, I’d wear them all the time. Just think of the number of extra balls you’ll end up with at the end of a typical day. :-)
