The folks at GTalk, the IM gateway software company, have come up with a new service which lets you listen to Internet radio stations from your IM client. Fire up MSN Messenger or Google Talk, add the radio contact, type Radio ‘number’ and accept the call to listen to a station. It was a little stuttery (is that a word?) when I used it, but an interesting idea -although I’m still trying to work out why you would want to do this?
With the help of our GTalk2VoIP service all Google Talk, MSN/Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger users now can connect to a number of Internet Radio Broadcasting stations and start listening radio streams. No additional software to install, just follow the instructions below.
This is just a “prove of concept” experiment and we were quite surprized to see that lots of ppl came and listen radios this way :-).
