Gtar makes it so anyone can play guitar

The idea of playing guitar is a bit of a daunting one. There are six strings and countless frets to keep track of, and the process of building up callouses to look forward to. Not to mention that you have to worry about putting your fingers in hand-cramping positions to achieve a decent sounding chord.

The best way of learning an instrument like this is to work your way up, which why the Gtar is an excellent stepping stone. It definitely has a Rock Band feel, but it works in tandem with an iPhone app and LED-lighted buttons that will quickly and efficiently give you the know-how for playing. Your iPhone will actually plug into this guitar and be active the entire time you’re playing, so make sure you have a full battery. There are three modes consisting of easy, medium, and hard. Easy mode has the correlating fret light up, but you only have to worry about hitting the correct string. Medium will have you hitting the correct frets and strings at the same time, but Smart Play will pick up the incorrect notes. Finally, hard mode will have you tackling everything on your own, and Smart Play will stop helping you along. This is a $400-$450 endeavor while its Kickstarter is still happening, so jump on the bandwagon if you’re wanting to learn an instrument.
