Long time readers will remember that I’m a partner with the most awesome Mr Tom Locke in the Hobo project, an open source rapid web app builder for Ruby on Rails. Well, after 3 years of sterling work by the Hobo community and some very useful sponsorship from Barquin International in Washington, DC, the project has moved out of beta to Version 1.0.
What’s that mean to you? Well nothing, unless you’re a web developer looking to create web applications, at which point it could be worth taking a look at our technology. And hey, there’s a shiny new logo, two cool ebooks, and a bunch of changes under the hood to make it easier, better, cheaper, faster, cleaner, cheesier, kinder to your hands and possibly more awesome. That is all.
Press release wot I wrote is here.
