Holograms are very cool. Everyone can agree that even the little looping videos of neon jellyfish and butterflies we can look at on our phones with a Plexiglas hack are super neat. What if you could take that technology a little bit further? Holovit lets you do more than just watch, you can play games.
This system is a screen and a set of glasses. You place the screen in front your device, done the glasses and enjoy your 3D holographic experience. There are screen sizes for a number of devices including smartphones and TVs.
Now for the bad news, as neat as this is, it won’t work with your standard games and movies. That would be cool and all but the technology just isn’t there yet. Instead this works with games and clips designed to be viewed in holographic form. They also have recording studio sets if you want to get in on the action. If you’re still interested, you can get your own starting at $175.
