There’s nothing quite like sleeping outside under the stars. It’s not the same when you do it in the city, since the lights obscure your view of the stars, leaving only a fraction of them to twinkle before your eyes. Of course, driving out to the country on a regular basis isn’t always a good option. That’s why Sega Toys has created the Homestar line of home planetariums. Their latest device has a bit of a twist to it.
Instead of just showing you a cluster of stars in the night sky, you’ll also see the Tokyo Sky Tree. I suppose this is sort of a best-of-both-worlds device. It combines the clear imagery of the stars, but a part of of the Tokyo skyline. There’s no word on price, but this is a limited edition gadget, with only 6,340 being sold.
