Home sizzle.

The Two Person Home Sauna. $2999.95. As any discerning Finn will tell you, a home without a sauna is like a reindeer without a red nose [Eh?…Ed].

Unlike most home saunas, this unit fits into small spaces, and can be set up in a few hours without the inconvenience of extensive home remodeling. Made from kiln-dried red cedar and stainless steel hardware, the sauna is large enough to seat two people, and can be set up in a bathroom, bedroom, recreation room, garage, or an outdoor location such as a backyard or by a pool.

  • $2999.95? Stuff that!

Make a bonfire in your back garden, lob some bricks into it for an hour or so. Pull them out (using a shovel or something), whip them upstairs, and plonk them into your enamel bath-tub. Close the door, strip, plonk yourself on the loo, and occasionally add water to the bricks. £0.30 (15p per brick).

  • See? You’re even more cheapskate than me. :-)

  • Well, its not a gadget. If i could get a battery-powered “sauna-in-your-sink” gizmo, i’d be more than happy to buy it. long as it was under £25.

  • What about a bathtub sauna?

  • Ah, yea, but its not the same. Plus, I don’t get to run outside in the show and beat myself with sticks.
