Hypnocube – the ultimate LED extravaganza

Hypnocube

The Hypnocube is described as ‘an LED lightshow in a cube’, and there’s no denying it’s…ah…cubical. We’re talking 64 tri-coloured LED bulbs, matrixing out to a whopping 4096 colours at full blast, which is like wow man. Buried in all the psychodelia though, is an 8 MIPS computer engine which just happens to like mushrooms and browsing through Craigslist on the weekends. So hurry, grab that spare $199.00 and be on your way.

The HypnoCube is composed of 64 tri-color LEDs arranged in a cubical lattice. It runs up to 64 three color channel LEDs for a total of 192 individually addressable LEDs, with 16 color levels per color channel. Incredibly then, this RGB cube has 4096 colors! Simple to use, just plug in the cube and watch is amaze onlookers young and old with an alternating, unpredictable cubic light show. With random paths, variable speed, 51 basic effects, and over 10 transition effects, you will never see the same show twice.
