The interesting thing about the I-Measure is that it not only measure distances using clever ultrasonics, but also calculates room areas like cubic feet and stuff. Tres useful. Oh and it also detects studs and electrical cables to stop you electrocuting yourself as you bang a nail into the wrong part of the kitchen wall. Around $46.00.
Looks exactly like a unit I purchased on clearance after the holidays a few years ago for $5.00. Don’t think I’d pay any more for it. The ultrasonic distance measurement is handy for quickly sizing rooms, but the stud detector is garbage. Honestly can’t say that I ever had use for the AC wiring detector either.
The thing has a Brad Pitt detector? Yowsers! :-)
