Another dopey article by a researcher who hasn't researched. Checking your eyes on an eyechart does not constitute an 'eye exam'. An ocular assessment is much like a physical for your body — many factors are checked including, most importantly, the health of your eyes. Many eye conditions are silent and can cause blindness (how about researching glaucoma in your next article?).
