The good folk at UK mobile telco 3 have launched a new In-Car WiFi kit to let us all surf and play in our motor vehicles. The MiFi roving hotspot device connects to the 3 data network and then distributes the signal to any connected device within the car.
The company is promising us all sorts of gaming, movie and other mobile fun, which could be useful if we all end up sleeping in our cars because of the credit crunch. Insert suitable Facebook, poke and speed limit joke here. Priced at £59.99 including 1 month of data.
In Car Wi-Fi connects over the 3G network to create a personal Wi-Fi hotspot so passengers can connect to the internet on a range of Wi-Fi enabled devices like an iPod Touch, Nintendo DSi XL and Netbook, all without the need for wires or a USB connection.
I’m always searching into stuff on info that I don’t know of, even though it might be old news. It is not an easy task to find things that you don’t know about, because what do you look for? ;) This is right up my alley regarding something new to me. Great post! Thank you.
