Instant Action – free browser based 3D games

Instasntaction2

Instant Action is an online video game portal with a difference. For a start the games are all in glorious 3D technocolour, and come complete with a range of game-play options including things like capture the flag and deathmatch. Most importantly though, the whole interface is geared towards making it easy to get your friends to join in and play. There’s a fast ‘email your friends an invite’ feature, and a nice built in chat room so you can make it more of a leisure time party thing.

Refreshingly not all the games are shoot and smash, there are puzzle games, marble roller games, real time strategy etc, all available in single or multiplayer modes. Note that it’s all beta still, and you’ll need to download a player plugin for your browser. Nevertheless all in all, I’d say this is about as good a way of wasting your time -OK, having fun – as any out there. Enjoy!

If it’s InstantAction.com, there will be a plugin to install to run the games. There was a site going around that wasn’t InstantAction, but claimed to be that did have malware attached to it. But rest assured, InstantAction.com will not install anything questionable onto your system. I’ve been gaming there for over 6 months now.
