Intelligent Electronic Mirror – is it a picture frame or a mirror…you decide

Acever Intelligent MIRROR

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, why buy a product for one job when you can get it to do two for the same price? Umbrellas as sunshades, televisions as computers, it definitely makes sense.

So it’s interesting to see an enterprising Chinese manufacturer which has created an Intelligent Electronic Mirror, which converts to a picture frame when you’re not sitting in front of it. Hang it on your wall or put it on your desk to display your favorite family photo, but when you need to check your nose hair, just walk up to it and presto, the surface changes to a mirror. Clever Trevor.

It’s the kind of product your vain Uncle Dorian will love, and there’s no reason why it should just hold photos. Why not drop a local transit map on there, so you can have a doubly useful exit door tool for visitors? The thing needs power of course, but when powered off it maintains a mirror status. Price is around $65.00.
