Cool Web Apps & Sites posted by – Chatroullete for technical job hunters

MAn in meeting

Tech is a booming field and if you want to work in it, you’ll have to do a few interviews. If you’re just starting and wondering what a real technical interview is like or if you have been in the field for a while and just want to make sure your interviewing skills are still sharp, check out, the double-blind interviewing platform.

It’s described as Chatroullete for interviews. You log in and you’re met with a random interviewer who will treat you as if you were a real candidate for a position in the company. You’ll be able to get insight on what sort of questions are asked and what skills you need to have at the ready. Bonus, the interviewers are actually hiring so even though this is just practice, you may land a job.

The trick is to this site is that it’s done blind. You will have audio but there is no video. They do not have access to your information. They only know what information they gain from the interview. This is a really cool concept to help fight bias in hiring practices and honestly, it would be nice to see this sort of service for other fields. The service is free. Stop by the website to check it out.
