iPhones don’t come cheap. This is understandable, since they’re pretty advanced pieces of technology. Like other gadgets that cost a hefty sum, you want to do your best to ensure that they don’t get broken. That’s why there’s an entire market devoted to protective cases. That’s also why I couldn’t ever dream of using this iPhone Carabiner Clip.

The clip screws into the bottom of your phone, right by the dock connector. They give you replacement screws that are long enough to accommodate the extra material, so you don’t have to worry about the clip falling off. Of course, that’s not the part I’m concerned about. It’s the fact that this is designed to keep your iPhone dangling around from your pants, backpack, or just about anything else. Seriously, these phones are almost completely covered in glass. Why would you want them to be exposed to getting banged around on other things all the time? If you really want to do this, then you can expect to pay $30 for the privilege.
