There are a lot of different types of keyboards out there. Some boast being more ergonomic than others, while some are geared for specific purposes like gaming. Either way, we usually have a large rectangle littered with keys that will help us to put words in our head onto a screen. There have been some innovations, but how many of them shrink your keyboard down to the size of a deck of cards?
The Decatxt looks a bit like a toy, but it is a fully-functioning keyboard that has every button you’d need all within reach of one hand. There are only ten buttons, and while it may seem confusing at first, it’s pretty easy to figure out. It would be awesome for phone and tablets, but I highly doubt anyone would replace it as their home keyboard. The reasons would be finding a place to put it while you type, and it just doesn’t “feel right”, as it seems like a more portable item. It doesn’t look like this has an order page or pricing availability, but they were at this past CES, so I should hope more information on this will surface soon.
