The Just Out of Reach light extension for kids. Ferrets, of course, don’t bother about lights. Or switches. But if they did, they would probably buy a bit of string. And certainly not a bit of plastic for $10.95.
Wow….. kids grow up so fast. They want to get to their toys, their bedroom or the bathroom by themselves. But…. the next thing you hear is, “Mommy, Daddy, it’s dark in here. Can you turn on the light?”. So you get up to turn on the light. Sometimes you can’t wait until they are big enough to reach the light switch by themselves….
Only works on sticky out pointy light switches too
$10.95 for this. Here’s how to make it for about 50 cents. Get a piece of clear tubing that will fit onto the paddle of the light switch, a 12-18″ length of round dowel, and a wood ball for an endcap. nuff said
The description: “they would probably buy a bit of string” would only allow you to turn OFF the light. This device allows the child to turn the light ON and OFF.
but what child ever wants to turn their light OFF? :-/
