Harried parents dropping children off at school seems to be problematic in most places, however Bede Academy in Blyth in the UK is trialling a tough stance on parents who insist on flouting safe parking laws. The Academy will give infringing parents 3 strikes before expelling their children from the school. Being the UK I’m sure this will catch on. [Via Autoexpress]

A spokeswoman for the Academy said: “We cannot expect the young people to be responsible, observe the law and be courteous to neighbours when this is not being demonstrated by their parents.”
