The Kill-A-Watt, the ubiquitous gadget power meter has had a face lift and a brain transplant, behold the Kill-A-Watt Graphical Timer. You can track changes in your electric consumption, reduce energy use and lower those monthly utility bills. At $69.99, it’s a must-have for every energy-conscious household.

The power meter once connected to your appliance will assess how efficient they really are. The large LCD display will count consumption by the Kilowatt-hour, same as your local utility. You can track minute-by-minute changes in electric consumption as major appliances are turned on and off.

  • I can buy a lot of electricity for $70.

    • Yeah but the Kill-A-Watt makes you feel smug, and that's priceless right? Right?

  • @Adam, yes you can buy a lot of electricity, but its you have to remember, its not just a power meter, its a timer that you can use for any appliance or device in your house to ensure that you're not just leaving things on – it will do the work of turning them on and off. Its great for things like a heater (like the one at my desk at work), christmas lights, etc. But at the same time, it shows you how much current energy is being used and shows you how much over time in kWh. thanks Dan!
