When it comes to computers, we all know that you have your laptop that goes with you throughout your daily tasks, and then your desktop, which is anchored at home. However, not everyone has enough money to afford both computers, or simply doesn’t see reason in having two. If you prefer to have a laptop as your sole workstation, likelihood is that you set it up with a monitor when you get home. Most laptops aren’t equipped with enough ports to make things easy. Which is why the LandingZone for MacBook Air is almost a necessity.
This docking station is meant for an 11 or 13 MacBook Air, and will give you an additional 4 USB ports, an Ethernet port, Displayport, a Kensington lock port, and a power supply. It is a Kickstarter project, but has already surpassed its goal, so early backers of the project will see their dock coming out sometime in mid March of 2012. There are still 27 days to go, and if you want one of your own, you can pledge $159 for one, or $299 for two.
