You’re not on your computer all the time, why not let it help out science? Download Folding or Rosetta @ home and sign your computer up to handle some of the processing needed for research on the Covid-19 virus and help everyone really.

These programs run in the background when you’re not using your computer. They’re just borrowing your processing power. They’re not going to be combing through your personal files or looking at your browsing history.

We’ve highlighted these sorts of things before for cancer research and the like and this is no different. Part of fighting a virus is learning about it and signing up to volunteer with one of these companies will be a help.
