If you’ve ever assembled your own PC, you’ve no doubt discovered just how many cables there are on the inside. I’m the type of person that will spend a half hour routing wires so that the end result is as clean and free of clutter as possible. It helps when the case I’m working with has holes for cable management. Unfortunately not all cases have these, and if you don’t have the budget for a new chassis, you’re stuck with a mess case, right? Well if you have the right tools and a few extra bucks, you can add these holes yourself.

Now, you might be thinking that cutting a few holes in the side of a PC case wouldn’t be that hard, but there is a little more to it. Namely, you’ll need to cover up the bare metal of the holes, lest your cables get damaged by the sharp edges. A few rubber grommets should do the trick.
