If it is only an audio device, why does it have video connectors?
Those aren’t video connectors, they’re SPIDF (digital audio). But SPIDF connectors should be orange; yellow as you correctly misinterpretted generally indicates video.
So you already have a LAN in your houes without adding ethernet cables? Why not juse use it for data in general?
wow.. that’s cool! no chance in hell it’d work over here in the states tho.. you’d need a transformer-type dealie so the voltage would be correct and that would crank the transmission speeds down to .. zilch
I think it’s because these units come with audio connectors rather than vanilla Ethernet.
