Usually ultrasound machines are quite large, not so with MobiUS. This one is small enough to fit into your pocket and be carried from site to site easily. The smartphone was designed to give a clear picture so medical professionals can have instant access to information about their patients’ insides.

The company doesn’t encourage nonmedical professionals buying the product but it is not prohibited either. Keep in mind though that as cool as it would be to have your own ultrasound, the results may be a bit hard to read without any formal training on the matter. Still, if you have the money and the desire, it’s still a cool idea. The MobiUS SP1 isn’t cheap, the system will set you back $7,495. It’s cheaper just to see a doctor.
