Moby Mart – this grocery store comes to you

I hate going to the grocery store, worst part of adulting to be honest. It would be great if the store at least came to me. I mean, meet me halfway with this! My dream my someday be a reality with Moby Mart, the market that comes to you.

The concept is that it will be an autonomous, self-driving grocery store that meets you at your doorstep. It’s not quite there yet, it’s currently being tested in a parking lot but it’s already got some interesting features. It’s the size of a small bus and comes stocked with a variety of goods that you may find a corner store.

Shoppers sign up for Moby Mart with an app and use their phones to scan their products. As they leave, the store charges their credit cards for what they picked up. In the future, it’s hoped that this will actually be able to hit the road and work with drones to drop off deliveries straight to shoppers’ doors. But for right now, it’s still just a dream.
