Remember in the 90s when the coolest furniture you could have was inflatable neon plastic? How did we ever sit down in the 90s? The MPOWERED Luci Original Inflatable Solar Lantern would have been the coolest lamp.
This little lantern is a blow up, solar powered lamp. It looks like a clear plastic tube but there are solar charged lights along the bottom that will glow if charged with the power of the sun. The great thing about this lantern (besides reminding me of my childhood) is that it’s not really breakable. Or bulky. The lantern collapses, like anything that blows up. It charges in 8 hours of sunlight and even has an on/off switch.
The downside of this lamp is that you have to blow it up. That’s always a hassle but once you’re done, you’ve got a renewable source of light that’s prefect for camping or an emergency situation such as a hurricane or earthquake where you may see complete or rolling power outages for a number of days. The MPOWERED Luci Original Inflatable Solar Lantern is $13.65.
