Mr. Coffee Smart Optimal Brew – the coffeemaker that’s smarter than you are

Mr Coffee

Yeah, so today is Black Friday in the US and many other places. That means it’s a day when ordinary, rational human beings will go and stand outside in bitterly cold weather to queue for a television at 30% off a fictitious price. Thank goodness for civilisation. It’s also probably a time when a good hot cup of coffee will help them feel less like frozen popsicles, and more like intrepid bargain hunters. So, for those of you out there on the sidewalk of life, we present the Mr. Coffee Smart Optimal Brew Coffeemaker.

The Optimal Brew allows you to brew your coffee from anywhere, say the 3AM line outside of Walmart, so it’s fresh and piping hot for you when you finally make it home. The coffeemaker uses a downloadable app called WeMo so you can control brew times from your phone, and  you can also set up reminders in case you’re the type that forgets you have something waiting. The coffee takes 8 minutes to brew to perfection, and if you’re running late for your date with the bean, don’t worry, the state of the art carafe keeps the liquid nice and warm for hours. The machine makes up to ten cups of coffee and the app is available on both Apple devices and Android.

The Mr. Coffee Smart Optimal Brew Coffeemaker is currently priced at $149.99.

  • What’s the point of smart phone gadgetry when it fails at its most important function: holding an accurate and steady brewing temperature? Instead of investing in making this correctly, they dumped money on gadgetry and smart phone gimmicks.
May as well just bury your money in a landfill. It will end up there anyway.
