Muchtel A1 – Another Android Smartphone from Taiwan

Taiwanese manufacturer Muchtel has debuted its first Android smartphone A1. The Muchtel A1 is designed by Foxconn and has a 3.2″, 320×480 capacitive touch screen, built-in gravity sensor, light sensor and distance sensor. It runs Android 1.6 and is powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227processor with built-in 256MB RAM+512MB ROM.

There’s also built-in GPS system and an electronic compass. Other features like: 2Mpixel camera, GSM / WCDMA and WiFi access, 1230mAh lithium battery providing 582 minutes of talking time or 538 hours standby.

The A1 is priced at about US$373 (RMB 2550), which is a good price for its functions, although the responsive speed of multi-touch is not sharp enough, its specs can meet the needs of many people.
