If you spend a lot of time working at a computer every day, you’ll know that long periods hunched over a keyboard can really play havoc with your back. And there are few things worse than a painful back caused by obsessive typing and pizza, and pizza and typing.

These Multifunction LED Posture Alarm Glasses are designed to deliver an alert if you are sitting in the wrong posture for too long. The product delivers its warning in the form of a ‘music reminding’, which we assume means a chiming alarm, at which point you’re no doubt going to remember to sit up straight, Jenkins, and stop slouching.

The glasses run on six LR44 watch batteries (3 in each sidebar), and said batteries also power up three LED lights, which you can use for those essential reading in the dark moments. There are also, for some strange reason, two strobe modes on these lights, which we’re at a loss to explain. A disco aid maybe?

Anyhoo whatever. We like the idea of something simple which helps our health, if only they could invent a pair which would also keep our politicians upstanding then we’d be set. Priced at $5.90.
