MuteWatch alerts you with a silent alarm

I’ve never liked using the alarms on the various watches I’ve had over the years. They are always too loud with no volume controls, and I feel like an idiot if I’m in a public place when it sounds. The MuteWatch was literally a dream come true as I realized I will never have to panic from a loud alarm ever again.

This awesome wristwatch looks like a bracelet with a bland color, and a rectangle as its centerpiece. The rectangle is actually an LED display underneath a translucent touchscreen. You can swipe the screen to get through the watch’s functions, and simply tap the screen to change the time. The best part of this device is the silent alarm that is uses. Instead of putting on all the bells and whistles it can muster to alert you, it simply vibrates to let you know it’s time for whatever you need to do. If you’re worried about not being able to feel the vibration, don’t panic; it adjusts itself to make sure you know what time it is. This Swedish designed timepiece is selling out extremely fast, even with a $259 price tag.

  • Too bad you didn’t show what this looks like with the time lit. I ordered mine a year ago (with a discount). The alarm system is ingenious. You can set alarms all day long for certain things: regular take-out-the-dog or take-your-pills alarms, or the successive ones that get you through a speech, by alerting you to shut up now, it’s over, or to change topics.

If you wear it to bed, it will wake you up with a vibration that grows in intensity because it knows when you’re sleeping.

I get mine in two days. I can hardly wait.
