Nano Falcon – the world’s smallest IRC helicopter breaks record, then gets lost

There is a school of thought that says making things too small can lead to upset and misery. Hands up all those of you who’ve lost or misplaced a rather valuable 64 GB microSD card because it’s just too darn hard to see…all black and minuscule and stupid. We lost one from a wallet a while back…so annoying.

Well don’t tell these guys, because they’ve just got the Guinness Book of Records award for the smallest IRC helicopter, and they’re probably hopping about with glee.

The Nano Falcon is ridiculously small, even smaller than a computer mouse, which means it’s going to be even harder to find when you lose it in the back yard at night after an energetic flying session. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. The thing weighs 11g, is 65mm long and even so manages to cram a gyro stabilizer inside to help novices fly better.

It doesn’t matter, they’ll still lose it. Anyhoo, you can grab this piece of hot world record breaking technology for just $39.90, which we calculate makes it around $1.60 per centimeter. Good luck.
