Here’s a neat little trick I just learned. If you want to force Google search to return results for a particular country, just add on

&hl=uk&gl=uk

to the end of your search results URL, where the ‘uk’ is replaced by your desired country domain. Hit go again and you’ll get a set of results from the country. It’s not perfect, but it helps.
