Delivery drones are the future we talk about most but what if we went with something a more on the ground? Continental has plans to make deliveries with cute little dog robots and honestly, that just sounds so much better.
The robots would be driven around in a vehicle called a CubE, a driver-less vehicle, that would carry the robots and their goods for most of the way. When it arrives at its destination, it will simply let the robots out to deliver their goods and when it comes back, off to the next.
This is still mostly just a concept with no dates as to when they’re be rolling out. The bots would be potentially used to deliver all sorts of goods ranging from food to clothing to everything in between. The idea is that they’ll fit into the smarter cities of the future as an efficient and safe way to make deliveries.
