Let’s be honest, you don’t always need a super fancy laptop, sometimes you just need something to watch videos in bed on. If you’re looking for a laptop that has good performance for basic activities, check out the Onda Xiaoma 21 Notebook, the compact machine that will get you through basic tasks.
This is a very small and portable device with good design. It works very fast including both start time and coming out standby. This isn’t a heavy-duty machine though, it handles browsing, emailing, or video watching just fine but you likely won’t want to do much else.
This does have some issues, namely with the speakers and touchpad. Both are not optimal, and the keyboard is pretty small. It also lacks a headphone jack which would be nice because the speakers are so not awesome. Still, it comes with a full Windows 10 and is perfect for simple activities. You can pick one up for $300. Check out the video below for the full review.
Just a wild stab in the dark here, but I’m guessing you don’t use a Macbook.
I actually do, I own two Macbook Pro’s (2013 and 2017-version).
No Macbook Air though, but I can understand you find the verdict ‘Macbook Air alternative’ a bit over the top.
I was just comparing this spec and price-wise. If you get a laptop
that works that well (mine does at least) for that price, it’s a good
alternative than buying an expensive Air that does the exact same things
:)
