We were supposed to have flying cars by now. We don’t but one company still dreams of personal air travel to get you were you need to go. Opener wants you to leave behind the ground for the clouds with their personal air travel craft.

This craft looks sort of like a drone but instead of flying around with a camera, it can carry actual people. It looks very futuristic and has even been flown with live people. If this were to come to market, then users could save oodles on energy over gasoline and even electric cars. It is all electric with vertical take of and landing. It has onboard tech to make it easy to handle but you’ll probably still want some training before you take off.

This is a great concept but there’s a lot of things standing in the way of one of these in everyone’s driveways. Laws mostly but what a world it would be if everyone could fly to work instead of drive. Check out the video to see it in action.
