Admit it, you’ve always had a desire to own something unique, different. Something a little bit out there and yet iconic. Well now here’s your chance to own a bit of history…a famous British Telecom red telephone box. Sure you can get fake ones all over the place, but this is the real deal.
Actually it’s a K6 Phone Box to be absolutely accurate, complete with a specific Crown Emblem and dating from around 1935. Kind of like a certificate of authenticity. To be absolutely clear peeps, this is a real solid cast iron box with wooden door frame and weighing something like 750kg, so you’re going to probably need a bigger van.
Each box is lovingly restored to its former glory with a full strip down and repaint and the signs are restored as necessary. If you want the whole interior stuff like electricals restored, you’ll have to pay extra, and the suppliers suggest you get a qualified electrician to install the thing to the mains power.
Oh, and install a lightning conductor. Just in case.
The price for this piece of English-ness? Starting at £2,250.00 excluding delivery. Or phone. Bargain.
