Just loaded up Spam Inspector and I have to say it’s one of the best implementations of an anti spam program I’ve seen so far. This one is a keeper. It filters email on the way in, and flags, highlights and moves the mail into the deleted folder for you to check later.

The clever thing is that it completely integrates into OE and even turns the subject line red to make it easy to pick out the offending stuff. So far it’s hit a couple of false positives in the few days I’ve been using it, but that’s a great start as far as I’m concerned. Woopee, no more Viagra.

This now joins Mail Defense and Express Assist to make a trio of absolutely essential Outlook Express utilities that I carry from machine to machine. Oh and OE Quick Tools.
