OUYA brings mobile games to your living room

There’s definitely a big difference between playing a game on your living room tv, and on your phone. Sure, your smartphone has some snazzy games, but you’re just not going to go home and relax with your mobile phone. Not when a console or PC game is staring you in the face.

Mobile gaming seem to be much more popular lately, which makes sense for OUYA to arise. This is a game console for your TV that is powered by Android. This is exactly what it is sounding like; a console for your mobile games. Does it sound a bit far-fetched? Yes. However, it does provide people who have been wanting to develop games the opportunity to do so as it is an open console that is essentially a developer’s kit. It does give you access to all sorts of games, and will also have Twitch, which will let you watch game-play footage from games like Starcraft and League of Legends. It’s looking like this will cost about $100, but whether or not it will be worth it, only time can tell.
