Paint Thickness Tester – check for hidden car repairs instantly

Paintthicknesstester

Paint Thickness Tester. Why only the other day I was saying to myself, gosh, wish I had a paint thickness tester in my pocket to check if this car has been badly repaired. And now here’s the handy tool itself, in all its blue glory. Great as a bargaining counter with stubborn sellers, for who can argue with technology eh? £9.99.

Place the test probe on the car roof, for example. By pressing a button, the paint thickness tester will store this paint thickness as a reference value. Now, by placing the test probe on any part of the vehicle body, you can compare it with this value. You will immediately determine whether parts of the body have been replaces or repainted and if the purchase price is suitable. If necessary, you have a direct case for renegotiating the price with the vendor.

  • Looks like a very useful gadget while checking out a vehicle. Even if you know nothing about a car. Having this makes an impression on the persuasive sales person.

  • Should be a very quick and easy gadget to use. But does not tell you method that is used to measure the paint depth either electrical or magnetic

  • I think it's electrical Brian? Some guy brought one of these round to my place recently when I was selling a car. It seems to work, although I'm not sure that it offers huge value in knowing that a car has been repaired/resprayed.

  • whats the price for this tester & can you send it to me by carrioor to united arab emirates
    Dubai .
