Wow, I didn’t realise that rechargeable batteries were so efficient. Panasonic has just launched a new 1950mAh AA battery, and get this –

‘In tests* conducted using Panasonic’s Lumixä DMC-LC20 digital still camera, the Panasonic 1950 mAh AA Ni-MH batteries powered an average of 834 shots. By comparison, the Duracell M3 AA batteries powered an average of 139 shots.

That’s amazing! I use 1700 mAh batteries from Powerex and they’re really good, but I didn’t realise that the technology was that advanced.
