Paper Record Player.

Simon Elvins’ Paper Record Player. Cute. Very cute.

To play the record the handle needs to be turned in a clockwise direction at a steady 331/3 rpm. The paper cone then acts as a pick up and amplifies the sound enough to make it audible.

  • Stunning photographs. It amazes me that this works. Who needs electricity anways:) This kind of record player could come in handy in the event that your regular turntable loses its needle – just pull out the paper-turntable and spin. BTW does it play paper records too?

  • Very cool!

    I’ve post in Italian language!

  • If this doesn’t do in your remaining vynal records, nothing will!!
There is no way to use this thing without damaging the groovs of the record!!

  • How do you make this?
