PaperKit – free printable grid paper for all [Freeware]

paperkit

Graphing or grid paper is one of those hidden treasures that you never realize you’re going to need, until you need it. Sure if you’re a scientific type, student or a mathematician then you’re clearly friends with the stuff, but the fact is that it can be used in lots of places where you wouldn’t obviously think of it. Think about sketching, designing, drawing a plan or a map, just about any place where you need accurate scaleable illustrations.

PaperKit is a new free online service which lets you print off your own custom designed graph paper at the touch of a button. Or two. You can choose the paper size, the grid spacing, margins and even the color and thickness of the grid lines.

The site also lets you create and download PDF files of plain ruled paper, which is a bonus if you’re needing something to create your perfect novel or screenplay. Just download one sheet and let your handy photocopier do the rest. You’ll need to make sure your web browser allows for pop up windows to work though. All in all a simple but neat little product.

  • Rather useful though this site also has a nice selection of graph and lined paper forms you can download: http://incompetech.com/graphpaper/

  • What happened to the comment I posted about this yesterday? Was it deleted with the site upgrade?

    • We’ve switched commenting systems so the new one is in the process of importing the old comments. Hopefully it should appear again within 24 hours.
