Plants with Rabbit DNA Clean Air Better – new study reveals that unlikely pairing make better air purifiers

Even when you’re in your house, you’re not safe from air pollution. You’re safer but it’s air, it’s everywhere. Having plants in your house helps clean air which is great but take it one step further with a rabbit plant hybrid for more powerful air cleaning.

Ok, so that was a little click-baity. Kind of made it sound like there was going to be some sort of sentient plant in the shape of a bunny that you could keep in your house. Sorry. The reality is that a green plant called devil’s ivy spliced with a bit of rabbit DNA has been found to remove harmful toxins from the air.

These are toxins that released during our everyday lives by doing things such as bathing and smoking. This specialty plant so far has been effective at removing benzene and chloroform. Scientists are currently testing to see if it is good at removing anything else. It likely won’t be available anytime soon but it is an amazing breakthrough.
