Nowadays we have a multitude of devices, many of which serve the same purpose, but come in different sizes. It’s really quite frustrating to go through each device and make sure you have all the same files, apps, etc. so you’re never in want of information. What if there was a way to wirelessly sync all of your data across any computer, tablet, laptop, or phone?
Plug wants to be the hive mind for all of the devices you carry from day-to-day. You only need to install the app on your devices, plug your home internet connection into the adapter, and connect it up with a USB drive. Whatever the size of Plug is will be the same for all of your devices, meaning you can have a 3.5TB iPhone. It is mainly online-based, but you can choose which files you want to see whilst offline. You can plug in 8 devices through a USB hub, and only need a one-time payment rather than monthly. Sending files is a snap, but it is a bit worrisome about being able to download an app and only needing a password to access your entire digital life. This is a $69 risk that sounds enticing, but still seems a bit too dicey.
